Guillermo del Toro always has a million and one movies in development, but it looks like his long-gestating Pinocchio iteration is finally on the fast track and will actually go into production in the near future. Thanks to backing by Netflix and a slew of Oscars for his last outing, The Shape of Water, del Toro will finally be able to put his spin on the tale of a wooden puppet come to life.
