Movies are made in collaboration with hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of professionals, each with a specific and vital job. The Digital Imaging Technician (DIT) is one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that the average movie goer might not be familiar with but is an important part of the process. Well, we’ve got Frank Devine on the show to help educate us. Frank is a DIT and sometimes lighting technician with credits that include Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Star Trek Beyond, Descendants 2, The X-Files and others. We talk stories from the set, the importance of the DIT and how Frank made his way into the industry.
