"The Irishman" is nominated for a number of Oscars and rightfully so, but there's still a lot of debate over whether or not the de-aging CGI in the film are really the best they could be. A recent YouTube video put out by the channel iFake shows a number of scenes from the gangster movie reimagined using deepfake on Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci. This got us thinking about the future of deepfake in movies and whether or not the technology is ready for the big screen.
