Joaquin Phoenix's eagerly anticipated turn as the Joker can't come soon enough. The movie, simply titled "Joker," arrives to theaters in October. As we get closer to the release date more details have emerged about the Todd Phillips-directed film. The most controversial revelation is that it's not based on any comic. Cue some comic book fans losing their minds. We discuss whether or not that's important and whether filmmakers should have free reign to alter the source material when making their movie.
